We are an experienced team of chiropractors, sports and massage therapists, and other health professionals who share a belief that good health ultimately derives from the way people eat, move and think.
We also believe that true health care should place as much emphasis on preventing ill health and promoting wellbeing as it does on correcting things when something has gone wrong, and in keeping with this holistic, wellness orientated philosophy we offer an expert range of health care services designed to help people of all ages and backgrounds stay active and well.
We have many years of experience in helping people to address problems such as back pain, neck pain and the many other common conditions we treat. However, you don’t have to be in pain to benefit from the care we provide as a significant part of our practice focuses on the preventative role that good nutrition, exercise, posture, healthy movement and stress management all play in helping people stay active and well in the first place.
Ultimately, the care we provide revolves around each individual clients needs, so irrespective of whether you’re someone who needs help to tackle a problem that is causing you pain or interfering with your ability to get on and do all the things you need to be able to do, an athlete looking to avoid injury and perform at your best, a family whose focus is purely on prevention, or someone from one of the many other backgrounds we encounter our caring, friendly and professional health care team is ready to help.

“Modern lifestyles drive so much ill health. That is incredibly frustrating, but it is also something that we can all do something about. It’s always exciting to see people start to enjoy the benefits of taking greater control of their health, and a real privilege to be able to help people with that process.”
Stephen is fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council and most major insurance companies and is a member of both the Scottish Chiropractic Association and the Chiropractors Association of Australia.
In his spare time Stephen enjoys running and cycling through the beautiful countryside of Northumberland and sneaking onto the local rugby field to practice his Australian Rules goal kicking.
Jacqueline is originally from Wales, and after living and working abroad for many years she settled in the North East in 2008 with her young family.
In addition to her role as Practice Manager, Jacqueline also has a strong interest in how past experiences impact upon a person’s patterns of thinking and response to stress, and the effects of these changes on their physical and emotional health.
With a background in Change Management, Counselling, Clinical Hypnosis and Meditation she has a particular interest in how these tools can be used to help people manage symptoms of chronic pain, stress and anxiety.
In her spare time Jacqueline has a passion for art, walking, travel and good shoes. She also enjoys exploring the beautiful countryside of Northumberland, as it reminds her of the beauty of the country around the south coast of Wales.
Billy has always loved sport and exercise, and has an intimate understanding of the health benefits that accompany physical activity.
However – as someone who has been active all his life – he also understands how the stresses and strains of everyday life take their toll on the body, and of the important role massage plays in enabling the body to perform at its best.
These two interests provide the foundations for the care he provides within our practice. As a qualified personal trainer with a keen interest in sports and conditioning training Billy’s expertise helps to ensure that his clients are exercising in the most safe and effective way, whilst his skills as a massage therapist help to promote the physical and mental wellbeing of the body.
Billy uses a range of massage techniques – from more assertive forms of sports massage all the way through to the more soothing and relaxing techniques of Swedish massage – enabling him to tailor the massage he provides according to the individual needs of each client.
Michelle joined our team at The Team Valley Wellness Centre in 2024.
Michelle’s ability to empathise with our patients stems in no small part from her own personal experience. After having back problems for many years Michelle has found that chiropractic care has the only treatment approach that has really worked for her, and she now continues to have periodic “MOT” visits to help keep her in optimal health.
“I love meeting people from all walks of life, and enjoy being able to offer them support and advice regarding their care, so in many ways this is my ideal vocation. After seeing how I have benefitted from my care over the years other members of my family also chose to see a chiropractor periodically help them maintain their health and wellbeing as well”.
Dianne joined the team at The Team Valley Wellness Centre in 2015, and was immediately struck by how calm and stress free the atmosphere in the clinic was.
As she became more familiar with the nature of chiropractic care – and experienced it first hand for herself – she came to realise that most people don’t understand how good it can help them feel until they have experienced it for themselves.
“Many aches and pains that people have been putting up with for years – thinking they are part of the normal aging process or related to their work – can disappear, which helps people feel younger and brings an increased sense of vitality.”
In her spare time Dianne enjoys cooking up a storm in the kitchen and spending time with her family.
Hello, my name is Bear. I am a 4 year old cockapoo, and I have been part of the team at The Team Valley Wellness Centre since I was 8 weeks old.
I tend to work on the morning shift because I get a bit tired in the afternoons, but keep an eye out for me next time you visit the clinic as I love meeting new people and will often come out to reception from my office to say hello and get a pat.
I’m very friendly and love cuddles, and I will often pop myself onto the lap of the people I have gotten to know well because that is just what cockapoos do.
In my spare I love long walks, playing with other dogs, and stealing socks!
